Basic SEO Tips for Dog Trainers

The best case scenario is to have pages named after what people are looking for. The challenge is at the same time is to make it make sense.

Below is a small sampling (in order of preference) of what people search for related to dog training.

As you can see the whole “near me” craze is very popular (that is why I bought myself dogtrainingnearme.net, dogtrainingnearme.us, dogobediencetrainingnearme.com & puppytrainingnearme.us

Having those phrases throughout your website is what helps get it ranked better in google. It doesn’t make sense to have a separate service page for each of these phrases listed below (except for the main ones; dog training, puppy training, obedience training & board and train) but you can mention lots of them in articles or success stories.

So to answer your question, I would make the site as simple as possible, goal of the site is to get people to contact you and that is done by convincing them that they need you to help them fix a problem (NOT HOW you are going to do it). I wouldn’t want the site to get so detailed about how you do it. I’d focus more on the results, not the process. So if they are searching for board and train, they might land on the b & T page but after talking to them they might be better off with a different program.
