Search Engine Optimization work is charged by keyword.
Our optimization costs are typically based on a setup fee ($300 – $600) and a monthly fee based on the number of keywords that are targeted. * Final prices depend on the competition of agreed upon keywords. Below are approximated prices.
Monthly Keyword Fees:
- International keywords cost $100 each per month
- (Highest competition – and/or no location)
- National keywords cost $75 each per month
- (Medium competition – States and large metro areas)
- Local keywords cost $50 each per month
- (Low competition – Cities)
There is a discount for multiple keywords
SEO Does Matter, Inc. charges $60 per hour for web development, website related tasks, and search engine optimization. We can do development and maintenance work by the hour, by the page or by the project. It depends on what needs to be done. If you are a new client, we look to see what works best for your business model.
SEO and Website Development costs can be less with work that is based on a long term contract. Ask us about it! We are always willing to work with clients’ costs if interested in an ongoing relationship with website maintenance, web development or an ongoing project such as social media optimization or consultation.
SEO costs can vary if you are getting work done by an individual or an agency. Prices can go as high as $30,000 by some agencies! Here is an example of a company who doesn’t specify how many keywords they offer and their cheapest product is $1,000 per month. You can pay a lot for good optimization! SEO work is an ongoing project since searches continually change and content should always be added to a site just as a newspaper always has new information.
Our recommendation is that you look at the portfolio of the person/company you are considering and then compare costs to get the best value for your money.
If you are interested in search engine optimization, web development or any form of internet marketing, contact us here on SEO Does Matter or through Tom’s website.
