Do RSS feeds help SEO on your website? Yes, they do!  RSS feeds should be incorporated into every site you have.

Why? Because RSS feeds get picked up quickly by Google. A quick and easy way to accomplish this is by using a great site called Feedage which is a searchable RSS directory website. You can create an account and add multiple websites to your account. For more in-depth information, read from the Feedage blog, How to Get the Most Benefit from Feedage.com. Promote your content and you will see the difference!

From week to week when I visit a new website, it’s common to see a website with no RSS feeds. That’s why I am writing today to help get the word out that RSS feeds help  SEO and will get your site noticed more frequently by search engines! It’s simple and easy enough to promote it and  it doesn’t take much time.

So why don’t I see businesses and organizations add this to their website? I’m not sure. I guess they just don’t know or aren’t aware of the SEO benefits RSS feeds have for their websites.  I hope this post will help YOU to move forward and take the initiative and be one step closer to a website optimized with SEO practices.

If you are uncertain or need some help how to accomplish this task, contact us today and we’ll get you going in the right direction. Don’t wait another day because something like RSS feeds and Feedage is a basic step for beginners or intermediate web businesses to take. ~To help you out, I added the logo to Feedage below.  Click on the graphic and create an account today.  Don’t delay another day! :)

One way to help with search engine optimization is to submit a RSS feed (free to everyone) to increase traffic to your site and create more backlinks.   I recommend everyone add their RSS feed to www.feedage.com This will help with SEO and is something you don’t want to let slip by the way side.

I personally like that this website is categorized by subject and is searchable.  You can also apply a Feedage plugin to your WordPress blog and add it to your social networking sites. (Like I did) Although this site is user friendly, you can email them if you need help.  Good customer service is important. And many websites don’t meet the need. Let me not go in that direction…I can save that topic for another post! lol Anyhow, I know Feedage will respond to your questions!

RSS feeds are growing and a big part of the internet community. If you haven’t jumped on the band wagon, it’s not too late to start.  Don’t you want to take advantage of all the free SEO opportunities that are on the web?

I use a lot of RSS Feeds for SEO. Most of the news I add to sites I do is generated from rss feeds from news sources located near or around the targeted area.
