Ever asked yourself, “Why are backlinks important?” Today we will examine this question from an SEO perspective so you don’t make a common mistake!
Search Engines, (Such as Google, Bing, or Yahoo) use backlinks as a way to tell whether a website is popular. Imagine trying to determine what websites should be in search results for the phrase someone just typed into their search bar! Let me give you an example we all can relate to about popularity.

Once you pick a website, you don’t just want to “start writing.” Content is very important but the foundation is also important. If you build a house and don’t build the foundation very well it will crumble and fall apart. Same for your website. I removed the link in your comment and added it to this post. Here are a couple of things you might want to consider when you comment. Add your website in the field you are supposed to, not in the comment section. (So why did you put Google’s website?) Add real comments that will enhance a website instead of it being called spam. Hope this helps others reading about backlinks and comments!
